Event Details for Founders' Dinner
ATTIRE
The ACI Founders’ Dinner is formal attire. Please note that the event is outdoors under a beautifully appointed tent, so please wear appropriate shoes for the weather and terrain. Some areas, including the cocktail reception and fireworks display will be on grass.
TRANSPORTATION
We will have valet accommodations onsite at Mount Vernon if you would like to drive. Uber or Lyft are also great options for the evening.
ACCOMMODATIONS
Mount Vernon is 14 miles down the George Washington Parkway from Old Town, Alexandria which makes Alexandria the most convenient city to stay in, but here are hotel recommendations for both Alexandria and Washington, DC:
Dr. and Mrs. Carson are looking forward to welcoming you to the American Cornerstone Institute’s Fourth Annual Founders’ Dinner on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at George Washington’s Mount Vernon Estate.
It will be an unforgettable evening celebrating our cornerstones of Faith, Liberty, Community, and Life with fellow conservative leaders and visionaries.
Here are some highlights of the evening:
6:00pm
- Cocktail reception on Mount Vernon’s East Lawn
- Special appearance by George Washington
7:00pm
- Prayer, Pledge of Allegiance
- Dinner is served under the tent
- Prominent keynote speaker (stay tuned for our final announcement)
- Premiere of an unreleased project in anticipation of America’s Semiquincentennial
- Presentation of The American Dream Award and the ACI Founder’s Award
- Birthday celebration for Dr. Carson
8:30pm
- Founders’ Dinner concludes with dessert reception and celebratory fireworks display on the East Lawn
